| | This shot was taken in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument on a beautiful April night. This night of shooting was less difficult than some, in between shots I sat by the campfire with friends, relaxing. When a moonlight shoot can be incorporated within a camping trip with good friends, you've managed to put together the Old Milwaukee ad of photography..."it just doesn't get any better than this." After several hours in our campsite, it was very clear that there would be no air traffic nearby, so I framed the shot high enough to include the tracks from stars over the mountain. I don't know exactly how long this photo took, as I sat at the campfire and got up to end it when it "felt right." | |
