This was one of my earlier moonlight photographs, where I began to understand the character and tone of moonlight. As we saw earlier, the light plain-colored rocks take up a greenish tint from the moonlight and reciprocity failure. Perhaps we see evidence here that the moon actually is made of green cheese. The perfectly still water behind the breakwater in Pamlico Sound exactly reflects the color of the night sky above. This image took about 13 minutes to take. |
