![]() | ![]() One of my all-time favorites, I took this shot almost as an afterthought when I was about to leave the falls on a warm September night. I looked straight down over the edge of the cliff I was on and saw the water tumbling through the rapids a few hundred yards below the falls. Because the water level was so low, boulders stuck up through the main channel creating interesting patterns of eddies and swirls in the water. When I saw that the film had managed to pick up the reflection of the night sky interlaced with the swirling patterns, I knew that I had a "keeper." This shot took about 9 minutes to fully expose. | ![]() |
